Pop Prints
A little while back, I had created a rubber stamp that I ultimately used to create this image that we called pop prints, inspired by Andy Warhol. We played around with multiple ideas for the images that would be used to create this project, but overall I loved the bow theme. I tried doing the Chanel symbol but alas it didn't work out quite the way I wanted it to. I used Prismacolor colored pencils to shade in the white areas and make patterns on the bows and swirls around it. I like the bottom right corner bow the best because coral and teal are two of my favorite colors! Overall I wish I could have executed this project better but I still am proud of the work I put in.
Full of Fortune Cookie!
The past week I have been working on a project inspired by fortune cookies! My teacher brought in six fortune cookies for each student then we got to work. I looked at the "speak Chinese" section on the back of the fortune cookie then wrote the Chinese symbols that mean 'I don't know.' Just to be silly! :) after that I dyed paper with watercolor paints and started drawing, sketching cherry blossoms and fortune cookie images along with petals and a bright yellow sun. I colored them with Prismatic colored pencils and also charcoal to write my lucky numbers. My work represents luck and happiness because I used bright happy colors and my fortune was lucky.

ART x3
The past few weeks I have been working on a collage of fashion prints from magazines and turning simple pieces of magazine into an extravagant piece of artwork. I cut out pictures from Vogue, Seventeen, Nordstrom catalogue, and Teen Vogue. I used a gloss medium and brushed hand-dyed paper with the gloss and stuck the images on the gloss. Then I layered more gloss and glue on top of the images to secure them down and create a shiny surface. I believe I learned many things from this experience such as not to become frustrated with myself. I also learned how to being many pieces of art together to create a beautiful collage. During the process, however, this piece started out as another students. I actually covered up their previous images because they weren't my taste. LOL. Enjoy!

Lip Gloss Gallery
Part of my life as a teenager is dedicated to collections of mine. I collect many different things including Victoria's Secret fragrance mists, couture perfume bottles, Disney Vinylmation figurines, Disney character pins, Essie nail polish, and blingy bracelets. However, the biggest collection I have is a whopping 124 lip glosses by Philosophy cosmetics. I have so many different flavors. Some of my favorites are Full of Fortune Cookie, Sugar Plum Frost, Maple Glazed Cakes, Blue Hawaiian, and Sugary Cinnamon Icing. Many people will look at me like I have a yam puree dish sprouting from my head! LOL. But some find my collections and interests very appealing. And I love it. When I can share my love of scents and Hobbies with others, it makes me feel very good inside because they find me interesting, bubbly, and full of spunk. I collect many things because not only does it make me happy, sometimes my friends and family are happy when they see my collections. It is also really fun and I get to live colorfully! :)

Comparison of Bike drawing and Candy Confection
My two drawing are very different from one another. The graphite bicycle drawing used charcoal pencils and shading was the main source of color. The only color used was gray, but I used varying shades such as light gray, charcoal, and dark black-gray by using pressure on the pencil while shading. On the other hand, my candy jar drawing uses transparency with the light in the glass and i shaded the sketches using creamy colored pencils. I used varying shades of each color to achieve the maximum amount of realism in the pictures. Overall, I am proud of my two drawings and hope to become even better in future projects.
Candy Jar Confection Colored to Life
The past couple of days, I have been feverishly working on my recent drawing of candy in the spirit of Halloween! I started off sketching the outline of a mason jar and the wrappers of the candy and how i saw them through the jar's glass. Next, I started filling in the sketches with more defined lines and drew the candy logos. I used many different colors to lightly shade in the drawings. I have not quite yet finished, but after i colored, i started deepening the colors, making them morevibrant and colorful. I am starting to find the light in the glass where I will bring out the highlights of light aspects of the glass using creamy white colored pencil and pastel colors.
